We’ve got over 60 hours worth of programing scheduled for October’s show, so decide what you want to do most and start plotting out your weekend now.

Horror Realm Convention Update (must read)

Tuesday, August 4th, 2009

To whom it may concern,

Filmmakers, actors, actresses, horror movie fans, my name is Tim Gross, author of “Gross Movie Reviews and co-founder of www.Bastardsofhorror.com ” and you are receiving this e-mail to let you know of the new horror convention in Pittsburgh called “Horror Realm”. It was once Zombiefest the past few years and the operators have decided to turn it into a full fledge convention and would like you to help make it a success. Whether it’s being a sponsor, buying a vendor table (there is a few left), purchasing tickets for the event and showing up to meet your favorite celebs, or even contacting the operators of the event about being a possible guest?… I’m asking you all to help make this convention in Pittsburgh a success and something to come to on a yearly basis. Keep in mind the promoters already have a contract in place for the Horror Realm convention in 2010 also, so if you would not mind taking a couple minutes of your time and go check out the awesome website and become apart of hopefully a great horror convention for years to come. I know some of you might have looked at the guest list and have already responded or e-mailed me by saying, “I don’t know”,”I don’t have the money”, “Why isn’t this person going to be there”, or “The guest list does not look that strong yet”… Well people here are my responses: “Stop fucking complaining. It’s not Fango in New York or LA (no convention will be except for Fango!), it’s a first time horror convention in Pittsburgh, Pa., trying to be different and good by having not only horror celebrities, but artists, writers, make-up people, filmmakers, etc., people who you will want to actually meet, maybe hang out with, or hell have a drink with. Horror Realm is trying to be the best first time horror convention it can be. Horror Realm has already come out and proved it’s committed for at least another year which means the convention will only get bigger and better next year.  So people especially if you are within driving distance (OHIO, West Virginia, and Maryland) there is no excuses horror fans… Stop fucking complaining and actually come and enjoy yourself. Hell, come see me get drunk, sell some books, and bitch about Tom Savini should still be doing make-up and not acting! People if that doesn’t do it, for the love of fucking god DEBBIE ROCHON AND TIFFANY SHEPIS, two actresses who are not only the most talented actresses going but they are fucking hot as hell and two of the nicest people you will ever have a chance to meet!” Horror Realm… no excuses… be there…!

Tim Gross
